RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1787437

People

(Reporter: 1justinpeter, Unassigned)

Details

Latest nightly; confirmed in an unmodified profile (with one pref change)

STR:

  1. Enable "confirm before closing multiple tabs" (about:preferences > general > tabs)
  2. Click on the Firefox View icon
  3. Open another tab (actually, you just need to have a tab open... which it is difficult to not do)
  4. Right click on the Firefox View icon and remove from toolbar (optional)
  5. Click the x on your open tab (or middle-click)
  6. See "you are about to close 2 tabs," despite no visual indication that the Firefox View tab is open, or any way to close it.

We'll address this in bug 1787437.

Note that this isn't entirely a duplicate - the "close 2 tabs" popup still appears even if the icon isn't removed from the toolbar.

That's a separate bug, and tracked in bug 1784323.
