Opening it leads to an invisibile tab being selected.

If listing it there is desired/expected, opening should at least unhide Firefox View.

Dupe of either bug 1787437 or bug 1787797, depending on how you look at it. After bug 1787437, there won't be an entry in the hidden tabs list if/when you remove the button from the tabstrip. For completeness' sake, note that the STR are incomplete and the result described in comment 1 only happens if you've already opened FxView before in that window.
