User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016 Opera has a feature that I miss somewhat in Mozilla: the ability to quickly disable all plugins without having to remove them from the main preferences panel. In Mozilla, it seems the only ways I can disable a plugin is to either remove it from the preferences (hence making me have to add it again later) or remove it from the plugins folder. This is a benefit for a few reasons. The most notable (at least for me) is the clash between two processes trying to use the sound device in Linux. If two processes attempt to access the device at once (say XMMS and the Flash plugin), the second attempt is locked out and will hang until either the first process exits or a timeout occurs. This causes Mozilla to hang waiting for Flash to timeout. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
