Something about the attached testcase seems to cause the CSS transformation to be ignored on the black element therein, as compared to Chrome and Safari.
If I drop the perspective
on the body, or the backface-visibility:hidden
, it works. I'm not sure which of the existing related bugs this might be, or if it's a new one, so I'm filing a new bug.
This was reported at webcompat.com, and impacts a photo model's gallery (which is NSFW, https://www.patalan.eu/en/) . Clicking on the title there should animate the images with the transformation in the test-case, yet does not in Firefox.

Set release status flags based on info from the regressing bug 1772049
:gw, since you are the author of the regressor, bug 1772049, could you take a look? Also, could you set the severity field?

Looks like it's too late for 107.
Leaving 108 status clear, unless anyone thinks we should be following this for a fix in 108?

Yes, it seems to be working fine now, thanks! (also the webcompat.com issue that I mentioned).
