Details

Affected versions

  • 106.0a1

Affected platforms

  • macOS 12
  • Windows 11
  • Ubuntu 22.04

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch FF .
  2. Perform browsing activity on the device(closing each website accessed) using both Container and Regular Tabs.

Expected result

  • As a user I would want a differentiation between normal closed tabs and container closed tabs.

Actual result

  • All closed tabs are displayed the same.

Regression range

  • New Feature

Notes

  • Improving this would greatly benefit the overall aesthetics of the page and increase the overall UX quality.
  • This could be improved with either a color code for each respective container, or at the very least, the container icon next to its respective container closed entry from the "Recently Closed" section.

Is there a design for this?

This is more so of a "nice to have" capability. We've started to identify other areas of focus for FxView that should take precedence over any Containers related effort. Taking this off of our queue to focus on areas that will impact a higher volume of users.
