I would appreciate it if I could repeatedly rewrap a message at different wrap margins, preferably without using undo, by changing the preference and rewrap. While I'm filing the bug, I might mention that you'll probably need to reset the <body style="font-family: -moz-fixed; white-space: -moz-pre-wrap; width: 72ch;"> - this would also fix HTML rewrap ("plain text preview")
It looks like the pref is checked in nsMsgCompose::ProcessSignature, and then never checked again, so if the user changes the pref while the window is up, the compose window doesn't notice, and doesn't notify the editor that the wrap width has changed. The compose window should probably set up a pref change listener.
