yet again the newtab focus is back on the address bar - this way too often recurring bug was recently fixed but now it has resurfaced. The focus needs to be at the user selected new page defined point

Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:105.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/105.0
Steps to reproduce:
Same as every time this glitch reappers -
A - Open FireFox - focus is correct as defined by user
B - Click "New Tab" - where the just openned tab is "naked" - the user selected
location (such as Google) is not there thus the focus remains at the address bar
Actual results:
as above ( this is a yet again / occasionally recurring bug )
Expected results:
when the 'new tab' (click the little "+" symbol) the now just openned tab should present (open at the link of) the user defined web address and the focus (cursor) should be the user designated location (such as Google search box)

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::New Tab Page' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I believe this is a duplicate of Bug 1707701 and it is intended to be that way (Handoff-feature)
You can disable this by going to about:config and settting browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false
