If a user clicks on a meatball menu to open the popup, and then clicks on another meatball menu (or anything else in the browser really), the other won't open, the popup will just hide. I think what makes it a little confusing is that elements in the browser trigger a hover state even though one really can't use them until they dismiss the popup.

The issue is verified fixed using the latest Fx 111.0a1 on Windows 10 and Ubuntu 22.04. With the result menu open, clicking anywhere outside it, but still inside the browser (page links or other menu buttons: hamburger menu, addon buttons, NTP buttons), works correctly.
