Steps to reproduce:

OS: Arch Linux
Window Manager: Sway (The Wayland Compositor)
Firefox Version: 107.0.1+ (Plus because it's been reported by another on 108)

Simply use the browser, usually going to GMail can trigger the crash.

Actual results:

Crash randomly occurs. I have not found what exactly causes the issue.

Expected results:

Not crash.

+1 Same issue here. Having a couple of add-ons installed in Firefox.
Will attach crashlog later.

Just installed and currently evaluating with 110.0a1

The bug is linked to a topcrash signature, which matches the following criteria:

  • Top 5 desktop browser crashes on Linux on beta
  • Top 5 desktop browser crashes on Linux on release

:stransky, could you consider increasing the severity of this top-crash bug?
