Click the map in motion which takes you to a page with a looper applet on it and it downloades 6 immages to display. In Internet Explorer 6 this takes about 3 minutes at 32 Kb/s. I let it run for about an hour and 30 minutes and mozilla was still downloading. 21+ meg total. The url for the radar map may change at the sites convienence so to get there from their index.html go to www.weatherchannel.com; enter your zip code and go to the local weather page; A localized static radar map should be displayed; click on the 'see map in motion' link and it will bring up a page that displays an applet and says something like loading... please wait. URL loads and plays fine on current CVS trunk, Linux. (in a matter of seconds on a 1024 Kbps ADSL connection) It likely leaks some per cycle however - my free RAM slowly decreased.
