User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/111.0
Steps to reproduce:
Run Thunderbird daily (downloaded from https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/releases/ daily release channel) either from the command line in a terminal or from a desktop .lnk. Currently using 112.0a1 (2023-02-28) on Kubuntu 22.10 Linux. Just using a separate Thunderbird profile just for daily app use.
Actual results:
After a while (seems to be activated by another receiving email, but can't confirm), the Inbox for the imap account will disappear. I'm not using POP3.
Running the activity manager tool will show that the Inbox has been deleted (see screenshot).
According to the activity manager, the filters still run on the Inbox, but the emails were not in the appropriate folder, so don't think that the filter did run.
When quitting and restarting Thunderbird, the Inbox is recreated but without the original column order (date, ascending or descending as is my preference).
The only output from the command line execution is
"./thunderbird
Gtk-Message: 19:13:00.826: Failed to load module "xapp-gtk3-module"
Expected results:
Email account Inbox should not have been deleted and filters should have run.

I can confirm this is also happening on linux. I have to add that all imap accounts are affected not just the one with the inbox open. When this happens I can browse the whole folder tree expanding individual accounts to reveal each of my accounts is missing the inbox folder. After restarting thunderbird, inbox folders are back.

I can confirm this on macOS, and that disabling mailnews.imap.jsmodule
fixes it.

Currently using 112.0a1 daily for about 3 days on Linux now, and so far the Inbox has remained visible. Things seem to be fixed (currently using 112.0a1 (2023-03-08) (64-bit)).
Thanks for all the hard work.

Probably because imap-js has been disabled on daily, pending improving the overall quality.
So we will want to keep this bug report open.
