(K)Ubuntu 22.04, recent NVIDIA proprietary drivers, Nightly

"Sometimes" after hours or days of use, my UI stops updating, and the browser doesn't visually respond any more. However, when I minimize and maximize the window again, I see that my clicks did have effect. Clicking on the chrome menus never works, clicking on tabs does work (again, nothing visible until minimize/maximize).

At first I thought this was an odd/rare GTK bug, but I noticed a small correlation to there being an update ready. So I fear this might be connected to bug 1788173.

Could it be bug 1796960?

It doesn't reproduce with the STR in there, but it's similar to the video in bug 1802229 so "maybe"?

Clicking a lot between two tabs with the occasional drag did get me to hang, so I think that's evidence enough (...to not panic about updates).
