This happened to me while filtering by bug numbers the trash folder.
STR:
- While typing in quick filter bar, make a small (but not too small) pause and type again. (In my case, 1-2 second pause, the time for quick filter to be in the middle of the query)
- Make a second small pause while typing
Actuals:
- every key pressed after the 1st pause is deleted as soon as the filtered results are shown in Message list
- if you make 2 pauses, the keys pressed after 1st pause are ignored and the typing continues with the keys pressed after 2sd pause
This make the quick filter totally unreliable.
Example : filtering for bug 18-000-4 you end filtering 184
Expected:
- Quick filter should take in account the updated user inputs and not delete them
Works okay in 102
Might be a Perf issue
