Steps to reproduce:

Hi, I was trying the beta of Fedora Silverblue 38 with GNOME 44 and Wayland and I see that Firefox Flatpak crashes few seconds after open it.

After crashing and open it again, Firefox asks me to open in safe mode and it seems stable in safe mode, but the app is not in Spanish and the addons are disabled.

The rest of apps installed in the system look stable, so I think this is a problem with Firefox. I force the Wayland support with Flatseal and the experience is stable on Fedora Silverblue 43 with GNOME 43.

Actual results:

The latest stable version of Firefox Flatpak (111) crashes few seconds after open it on the Wayland session of Fedora Silverblue 38, with GNOME 44. I can't do anything with the app through the regular way, but it seems stable in safe mode.

I found the bug on my Acer laptop with a Intel Core i7-10510U CPU supported with the kernel and Mesa currently provided for Fedora 38 through the official repositories and Flathub. You have some details in the image that you can find in the tar.xz file.

Expected results:

Just a stable experience with Firefox Flatpak. Ask me for more info through this thread if you need.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Thanks for the report! This is most likely bug 1826583 and caused by a wayland library update.
