**Steps to Reproduce**
1. Launch Firefox
2. Access the following test page - https://threejs.org/examples/#webgl_renderer_pathtracer
3. Wait for the sample to fully load

**Notes**
The crash can be seen in the added attachment
Happens on Firefox 114.0b5 and 115.0a1
macOS 13.3.1 and Windows 11 will not crash but the performance will be very low and Firefox will hardly respond to any input
Feel free to change the component to the right one if this isn't the correct one
