User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/113.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Temporarily fill up Disk with downloads directory
  2. Attempt to download a file

Actual results:

  1. Download looks finished, but in fact a 0 bite file is created with the file name and nothing else

Expected results:

  1. Download should be listed as Failed or other message given to user that download is incomplete.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::File Handling' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → File Handling

This is interesting, bug 1554184 was filed about the opposite (there is a message there). It may be an OS difference since that's on MacOS.

This is pretty much ancient Bug 65770.
