User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 OS/HW: Win XP on IBM Thinkpad A31 and 98 on an old Micron (haven't tested with others yet.) Intense hard disk activity when I close a browser window - lasts ~10 to 20 seconds. Mozilla freezes while disk is freaking out. Occasionally (cannot reproduce reliably) Mozilla doesn't recover from the freeze, and requires me to kill the process. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a browser window 2. Close it 3. Listen for the sound of a tortured hard disk Actual Results: Generally nonfatal but odd and annoying disk thrashing Expected Results: Expected window to close gracefully without requiring a lot of disk access.
