The Problem
I terminated my account with a business some 7? years ago. But I still receive 2-5 messages from that business every week. These are very probably spam (advertising), not malicious. It seems that those messages are flagged as bulk by the e-mail service provider (in my case, yahoo). I would not be surprised if the messages are deliberately designed to be classified as bulk so they do not get automatically deleted by client message filters.

Requested Enhancement
Give us the option of having filters automatically apply when getting new messages for the "Bulk" (yahoo) / "Junk" (comcast) / etc. folder as well as to the "Inbox". So the "Filter Rules" GUI, which currently lists the following options in the "Apply filter when:" part:

  1. "Manually Run"
  2. "Getting New Mail:"
  3. "Archiving"
  4. "After Sending"
  5. "Periodically, every 10 minutes"
should have a new entry "Getting New Mail for Bulk Folder", or "Getting New Mail for Junk Folder", or [whatever]. Maybe the second entry "Getting New Mail": should be reworded to "Getting New Mail for Inbox:"?
