Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/114.0
Steps to reproduce:
I installed Firefox via Flatpak in Linux (Gnome), because I had another problem with native Firefox and keyboard not working (Apparently an multi-year long on/off issue).
Actual results:
It seamed to work just great, until I started streaming video's. This worked with normal YouTube videos, but with some other services the videos stuttered a lot.
Expected results:
I found some similar issues online that fixed the problem by installing the 'org.freedesktop.Platform.ffmpeg-full' Flatpak extension. This seams to have resolved my issue as well, but it should have worked out-of-the box right after installing the initial Firefox package. It also makes me wonder what other issues I am about to run into, due to the lack of other missing Platform extensions that Firefox relies on, but does not deal with during installation?
