We haven't done a cleanup of the wdspec meta data for a while and a lot of probably no longer needed expectations exist. Lets see which we can remove per platform. I'll attach individual patches.

Both the patches for MacOS and Linux were completely or partly reverted by the last WPT downstream sync. The underlying issue has been identified and will be fixed via bug 1848301.

I'll check if both the Mac and Linux patches will still apply cleanly, but I expect some merge conflicts need to be fixed.
