Steps to reproduce:
Debian sid/unstable with thunderbird 1:115.1.0-1
On a collapsed fully unread thread, press n.
Actual results:
The second message of the thread was selected (around the 12th second in the screencast).
Expected results:
The first one should be selected, as the selection of the collapsed thread, shows an overview of the all the messages and not the full first one. This is a regression compared to 112.x.

It is different. But, it might be intentional?

I can't reproduce this.
Pressing N
should move the selection to the next Unread message, but if all messages are already read, the selection shouldn't move.
Can you elaborate a bit more on the various steps and expected behaviour?

Sorry, please look at the screencast from timestamp 11 s on. The thread should be expanded, and the first unread message should be shown.
