Steps to reproduce:

I just updated to v115 on two Windows machines. One thing that bugs me with v115 is that the message cursor is not being shown at the bottom of the folder the way it happed in previous versions of Thunderbird. This seems to be a random but regular problem. This is happening on both newly-upgraded machines.

Actual results:

I will start Thunderbird 115 and go to read all new messages in any given folder. New (unread) messages will be at the bottom of the folder as they should be, yet the message cursor may be much farther up in the message folder, rather than down at the first unread new message.

Expected results:

The message cursor should be on the first unread message in any message folder.
