VERIFIED DUPLICATE of bug 18033

People

(Reporter: davet, Assigned: Brade)

Details

I know the Home and End keys work, and that they're standard for Windows, but in Linux I'm used to using Emacs-like keys ^A ^E for beginning and end of line (respectively). They act like this in Navigator 4.61 for Linux, but not in Mozilla, build 1999082316.

This is a dup of 18033 (platform specific key bindings), and believe me, I want these as much as you do. I'm waiting on some APIs to move the selection around, which in turn is waiting on focus and keybinding fixes, which supposedly are being worked on now. (See the dependency tree for 18033 for details.) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 18033 ***
