User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2) Gecko/20021203 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2) Gecko/20021203 This isn't really a download manager specific problem, but it has to do with downloading in general, so I thought this is the best place for this to go. This bug appears in Mozilla 1.2.1 and I have seen this problem with the Linux build and Windows build. When I download a file, and then pause it and later resume it, something weird happens. The amount downloaded appears to just skip. For example when I pause it when I have 500Kbytes of the file downloaded, and later on I click resume, it would jumped to 1000Kbytes immediately. I am on a 56K modem so I know it's not possible to get 500Kbytes in a second after resumming, unless there is some downloading activity going on in the background while the download is paused, which I don't think is the case. This all fine and dandy, I really don't care what the progress indicator says, but my problem is, after it says the file is complete, I end up with a corrupted file. This seems to happen to every file that I have downloaded using the pause and resume feature. If you are unable to reproduce this bug, please let me know and I will provide some more specific details on what I have tried. Thanks. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. download a file 2. pause the download sometime during it's progress 3. resume the download ... I will get a status of complete and end up with a corrupted file Actual Results: The file is corrupted. If I download the same file without using pause/resume, it works fine.
