The margin around floating objects (like "float:left; margin-right:xx" with CSS
or images with HSPACE=xx and align=right) is honored by normal text. But the
item markers (like bullets or numbers) extend further left than the text and are
sometimes partly overlayed by the floating object.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
See the above URL and notice the bullets next to the first image on the left.
Actual Results:
The bullets are partly overlayed by the image.
Expected Results:
The bullets should by at least indented as far as the normal text, if not
farther as with text where there is no float on the left.
I have seen this on all Mozillas since 0.9 in Linux and OS/2. It should be an
obvious thing to notice, especially when changing from Netscape 4.x which does
it correctly, but I didn't find any bug about this.

This shows the bug with a CSS based floating box on the left. Make sure that
you size the browser window so that at least one list item is on the right of
the box.

This is the way flow around floats is supposed to work. (However, there are
some proposals for CSS3 that might allow other options.)

Indeed, seems very similar to #57882. How did you find that?
Regarding comment #4: where can I find that this is the correct way? (Can't
believe it, it looks really ugly!)
