In 11/20 branch and rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030117 the way this site does their navigation from search results produces a postdata messages when you go back to the search results. Can the site fix this? -Go to http://www.naturemade.com -Do a search on echinacea -Click one of the links -Go Back Result: Postdata/expired from cache message Expected: normal navigation

Summary: Naturemade - Navigating pages & back results in postdata message → naturemade.com - Navigating pages & back results in postdata message
Every time I click the back button in Firefox, I get "Confirm: The page you are trying to view contains POSTDATA that has expired from cache. If you resend the data, any action the form carried out (such as a search or online purchase) will be repeated. To resend the data, click OK. Otherwise, click cancel." And then, I can't go back. This is a deal breaker, making Firefox unusable for me. Surely, you didn't make it do this on purpose!!?! How do I turn this "feature" off? -robin
jst, Opera doesn't do the alert. Are we doing the right thing with this page?

Just tried it in firefox 28.0 on Ubuntu, and followed instructions as described. (Go to http://www.naturemade.com, Do a search on echinacea, Click one of the links (in my case "Balanced B-100 Complex"), and back) I still got the history invalidation. @Adam, which version are you using where this is solved? If it is indeed solved, this would be great news as this bug is over 10 years old!
Hi Alain. I was using 29 on osx but just tried on 28 Ubuntu with the same results. When you say 'do a search on echinacea' are you using the search bar at the top or going into Vitamins & Supplement and filtering? Also when you return to the search results, it doesn't remember what you searched?

When you say 'do a search on echinacea' are you using the search > bar at the top I'm directly using the search bar at the top right (the only one present on the page) > or going into Vitamins & Supplement and filtering? No, I am directly searching from their main page http://www.naturemade.com/ , as described by Susie Wyshak in her initial comment. > Also when > you return to the search results, it doesn't remember what you searched? As I can't even go back normally due to the bug, it's hard to tell whether form contents would still be remembered or not. However, when I use the "Work offline" workaround, I see that indeed form contents is not remembered either. Actually, looking at it closer, form contents already goes away as soon as I press return to search, even before following the link.

I can't reproduce this either. Here's a screencast: https://cloudup.com/cvvS_QZWbEt
