"No Proxy for:" configuration does not allow specifying networks with subnetmask

It would be a very helpful feature if apart from settings of the form
.netscape.com it would also be possible to circumvent the proxy for certain
networks, either by specifying an expression of the form 192.168.* or via a
netmask 192.168.1.0/24.
Generally, regular expression matching for the no proxy entries would be ace ;),
e.g.
.*local\.site.*
or
.*\.168\..*
