Inbox is bold and shows one unread message. Icon next the thread shows green arrow. Expand thread. No new message but several copies of the original message. Shutdown/restart moz does not fix this. Resort by subj or by date does not fix it. Fire up Moz on windows box, it shows new mail and lists the new mail. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Also see 128099.

I did not notice this at first. If you shrink the thread, it does not shrink all the messages in the thread: T ----- becomes: T ------ |---- | ----- |---- |---- Keep shrinking/expanding the thread and the list gets longer and longer. Items in the list are always the first item.
