User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 I recieved mail with an attachment KF&D Historical.xls Double clicking on that attachment brings up a dialogue for saving KF with type *.exe Right clicking and selecting Save As seems to work fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.recieved mail with attachment named KF&D Historical.xls 2. Double click attachment 3 [review]. Observe bad filename Actual Results: Bought up KF as suggested name and *.exe as suggested file type Expected Results: Opened file with excel
Reporter (witbrock): Is this bug still a problem for you with current builds of Mozilla? If so, can you report what the Content-Type is for the attachment (should be something like application/x-ms-excel)? And also, what are the settings associated with that type in Preferences|Navigator|Helper Applications ?
