this is caused by bug 137701 [newsgroup postings stored as draft will send under wrong account]. Since it uses the wrong account it will use the wrong SMTP server. When bug 137701 is solved without fixing your problem, reopen this bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 137701 ***
