Click the forward button. A new message screen opens without the attachments identified in the attachment box. Sometimes the text is not displayed in the new forwarded message screen either. I have tested several messages by sending to another of my mail addresses and the attachment does not arrive. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select mail message 2. Click "Forward" button on tool bar. 3. Actual Results: A new message screen opens without the attachments identified in the attachment box. Expected Results: A new message screen opens WITH the attachments identified in the attachment box, and they are attached to the forwarded message.

Fred Musick, is this problem still occurring for you? Have you upgraded to a more current version of Mozilla? I am not seeing this problem occur with 1.5 Final. If I use Forward Inline, the new message window does show the original message's attachment in the attachment window. If I use Forward As Attachment, the attachment window shows only an entry for the message, but when sent, that message is maintained whole and includes the attachment. (But see bug 203570.)
