Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 I have a mirror of my website on my local disk, which is where I do all of my editing. The directory structure is identical to the actual website with the exception that the root dir is different. Sometimes when I save pages that I'm editing, for example the index.htm in the root of my public_html folder, composer will seemingly randomly change some of the relative URLs to absolute URLs. i.e. ./public_html/index.htm contains a relative link to /images/some_pic.jpg This link sometimes on save gets changed to file:///E:/mydomain.com/public_html/images/some_pic.jpg Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a webpage with a relative link. 2.Save it. 3.Try editing something unrelated to the link and saving it a few times. Should show up one in 10 times at least Actual Results: relative URL changed to absolute URL Expected Results: kept relative url relative. Maybe the save function is getting confused and thinks that the page being edited has moved, so it changes the url to absolute. Just a off hand geuss.
Robert, Could this be a variation of Bug 32768 which occurs when an image is copied or moved within the same page? Maybe you accidentally dragged an image? Does it happen to all the images on a given page at the same time, or just one?
Well, these are pages that already exist and are being updated. The links that change weren't new links, but links that were already part of the page and on which no editing has been done. I've just upgraded to 1.3, so I don't know if this is still relevent or not.
Marking as dupe of Bug 122227 based on the fact that this was an old release at the time of the initial report and there's no other confirmation. Reporter, please note bugs should not be filed on releases over 2 weeks old. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 122227 ***
