Using trunk build 20030305 on winxp and linux I have notice that my trained junk
file is no longer catching a lot of incoming junk and if it does catch it, it's
not moving it to the Junk folder. Still investigating, but I think it has to do
with having multiple accounts in same profile with JMC =on. This was working
with the 2-28 build and I believe the 3-3 build. I will write steps when I
narrow this down.

Can't reproduce in a new profile with same mail accounts. Need to investigate
more before this is nominated. Could be my other profile became corrupt somehow
but for now this is working with multiple mail accounts so that isn't the problem.
Mozilla 1.3b, Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3b)
Gecko/20030210, Windows XP Pro, Build 2600.xpsp1.020828-1920

Confirmed in Win XP. Junk mail control correctly sends many spams to junk
folder, and on some, it simply marks them as junk, but leaves them in the inbox.
Also, selecting Tools>Run Junk Mail Controls on Selected Messages... does
nothing to the emails marked as junk (but left in the inbox), even if I
"re-mark" them manually as junk and have highlighted them. Maybe this will
change as the Junk Controls become more intelligent?

Is bug 196732 a duplicate of this?
it appears I spoke to soon. :) This WFM now, it seems as though it had problems
w/ a large amount of mail coming in @ once (> 200 messages) and leaving some
marked as Junk in the inbox. The Junk Mail Controls have been flawless since I
posted comment 3.
Ah, I just filed bug 200087 noting a seeming regression in effectiveness too. I
don't do anything funky with profiles.
I don't ever see the not-being-moved-into-junk-folder problem, by the way. My
problem is just a gradual decline in the filtering's effectiveness.
sorry, esther, for marking your older bug a dup, but the other one has more
discussion.
