Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
please provide a small testcase
Summary: composer wraps long tags → composer wraps long tags
This is mentioned as one of the problems of "Retain Formatting" not retaining formatting; see Bug 174361, as well as bug 176866, bug 97278. My test case there includes a long tag that gets reformatted: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=102806&action=view
Using the example in comment #2, this is a dup of Bug #25141. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 25141 ***

I believe this bug has nothing to do with Bug 25141; sorry for the thrashing about. Robert Sander, which tags are you referring to, and which preference have you selected for Composer: Retain Formatting, or Reformat? I have seen that long <a> and <meta> tags split onto multiple lines if Reformat is selected. I don't think this is necessarily a bug, as Reformat means just that. Multi-line <!DOCTYPE>s and <a> tags in the original source are concatenated onto a single line if Retain Formatting is selected. I have not seen any tags split onto multiple lines with this option.
