The Bug has to do with filtering.
You must have several mail-accounts.
now go to one E-Mailaccount in the three-control and then and open the
tools->MessageFilters Dialog.
You can create now a Filter for the account you have selected in the three
control. That is OK.
But: On the top of the dialog box is a listbox. Here you can specify your
account for the filter. I now have done the following:
I activated one E-Mailaccount in the three-control and then and open the
tools->MessageFilters Dialog.
I saw that in the Dialog was a listbox. I now tried to make more filters for my
couple of accounts.
Now I closed the Dialog.
Then I was surprised that only the filter of the Account I selected in the three
control was active.
I checked my filters and surprisingly Mozilla 1.3 has "forgotten" to create the
other Filters for the accounts I chosed in the Listbox.
On my System that behaviour is completely reproducable!
thank you Benni
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. I activated one E-Mailaccount in the three-control and then and open the
tools->MessageFilters Dialog.
2. I saw that in the Dialog was a listbox. I now tried to make more filters for
my couple of accounts.
3. Now I closed the Dialog.
Then I was surprised that only the filter of the Account I selected in the three
control was active.
4. I checked my filters and surprisingly Mozilla 1.3 has "forgotten" to create
the other Filters for the accounts I chosed in the Listbox.
Actual Results:
the filters for the other accounts don't work
Expected Results:
the filters should work.

Benjamin Schulz: you seem to be asking to share filters across multiple
accounts. That bug already exists. If you agree this is a dupe, please mark

No!
What I mean is:
I can select an account in the three control!
I can go to the filter dialog.
And in this dialog I can choose the account for which I want to create the filter.
this choose box does not work properly.
The Filter is only set when in the choosebox the account is selected that is
marked in the three control
I can specify the accountfilters

I retested the behaviour.
It was that I haven't got the filters defined correctly.
