User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 In box labeled "Resources", text "N.Y. indictment: People v. Kopp (FindLaw, PDF)" fails to wrap between after "Kopp" and so word "Findlaw" exceeds margin and is clipped. Looks okay in IE 6 and Opera 7.02 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. load the page 2. 3. Actual Results: observed incorrectly rendered text Expected Results: wrapped text to stay within box bounds
Kopp </a>&nbsp;(FindLaw, is what the markup says, so there should be no wrapping there. For me the text wraps before "Kopp" (linux trunk build 2003-03-13-08).
Attached image illustration of observed error (deleted) —
This is 100% view magnification. At 120%, it wraps properly. Other magnifications are hit-or-miss.
-> Layout I see the same results as Ken on the 20030924 trunk nightly, Win 2000. If it makes a difference as far as when text wraps, I'm running at a resolution of 1024x768. I realize that the &nbsp; is correctly making it not break at Findlaw, but why is it not breaking at some point before that so as to not overflow the bounds of the table containing it?
