I must send emails with many different *From* headers (not all at once ;-).
These addresses are all server aliases and not separate accounts. This is a
*very* common practice in small-business environments.
To do this in Mozilla, I must create a large number of accounts--each of which
needs a POP3 server and a big list of settings. I can ultimately get things
working the way I need, but setting up an additional identity is a hassle, and
too difficult for an average user.
There could be an /Identity Manager/ that allows many identities to fall under a
single /Account/. This setup typically uses the same set of server settings for
all identities and just changes the information in the *From* header.
