However, links clicked in Mozilla mail messages open the URL in a current window/tab, disregarding the supportDDEExec option Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

This is obviously not a dupe. supportDDEExec is totally solid now for the browser. This bug pertains specifically to Mozilla Mail.

Mail doesn't use DDE. SupportDDEExec is meaningless there. That will change when browser and mail are separated, but until then this is invalid.
