I have seen this on a laptop running windows 2000 with ATI graphics and on an ASUS desktop running windows XP with a Matrox G450. I'm attaching images that show the lines. I have not been able to spend enough time trying to understand just when these show up but some things to note on the windows 2000 laptop: Resizing the browser window continuously (ie - grab the corner and keep moving the mouse around) you can see the black lines in the scrollbar. When you release the mouse the lines don't always stay there. There a certain web pages that I have visited that exhibit a black line problem in the unused portion of the window if the page does not expand to fill the window. In both cases the lines go away if the window is refreshed due to bringing it forward in front of another window. This bug may require that you have multiple windows open or maybe even a mailnews windows and a browser window... I'm not sure yet. I'll update if I get more definitive information. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Bringup mozilla with a mailnews window and browser window 2.resize the browser window continuously and notice lines in scrollbar background 3.continue step 2 releasing mouse until you end up with black lines in scrollbar Actual Results: Black lines in scrollbar, webpage or toolbar. See images. Expected Results: No black lines. I'm using the modern theme on both XP and 2000.
