Details

Most GUI elements (in Windows), especially buttons don't respond to right mouse button clicks, or respond differently from the left mouse button clicks. In Mozilla, their right-click response seems to be identical to the left-click response.

Component: Browser-General → UE/UI
Disconfirmed for *most* UI elements with WinNT with 1999-12-09-08-M12 nightly binary. Checked Menubar menus, menu items, Personal Toolbar items, Navigation Toolbar Buttons, and Taskbar buttons for right-click actions. Only the Taskbar buttons acted the same to a right-click as to a left-click. Changing component from "Browser-General" to "UE/UI"

Component: UE/UI → Browser-General
change back to Browser-general. UI owner can't fix this bug but browser owner will.

Toolbar buttons also showed some feedback on a right click down, but did not fire operation. They should not show any feedback on right click.

reassigning to evaughan as p4 for m15

This raises some interesting questions about when the :active state should apply. That's a bit of the problem, since some things probably should become :active for right clicks, but others not... This may relate to the CSS3-ui draft.
http://www.anandtech.com/ if you right mouse click on any of the menu links, it loads the page as if you clicked the left mouse button. Site uses CSS, and another bug on this site was fixed concerning crashign with right mosue button (bug 29452). hope this helps
