If I go to a URL that asks for a password (simple http auth) I can't use the
window manager's close button to abandon the window.  I have to click on the
cancel button on the dialog box first, before I can close the window.

Closing the window should implicitly cancel the dialog box, since obviously I'm
not gonna type in a password if I'm closing the window.
