12/1/1999 Linux build. Posted to netscape.test on news.mozilla.org which is my default news server. Posted both a new message and a reply successfully.

roland, how many news servers do you have set up in your prefs? can you try addressing the news post to news://news.uni-giessen.de/comp.unix.solaris instead of just comp.unix.solaris and let me know if that works. accepting.

moving to m13. not sure what the problem is yet, but since we can post from linux, not a m12 stopper.

when composing your news post, instead of attempting to post to comp.unix.solaris, type in news://news.uni-giessen.de/comp.unix.solaris I'll attach a screen shot of what I mean.
