Steps to reproduce:

to be able to use IDN Edit your prefs.js file with these lines:
user_pref("network.IDN_prefix", "bq--");
user_pref("network.IDN_testbed", true);
user_pref("network.enableIDN", true);

- open a page that uses IDN (for ex. http://internetdomänen.com/);
- copy the URL;
- bring up Mail composition window;
- insert the URL that you've copied in step 2;
- send mail, get mail;
- click on the link inside the mail body;
//note: error message
//if you'd copy'paste link (not insert it) that would work

 screen shot of the error message to follow
also happens on Mac
OS: Windows XP → All
Blocks: IDN
It works in 1.6 on Windows.

> //if you'd copy'paste link (not insert it) that would work
