I need a progress bar on the processing. I click several folders on seperate processing. I have to wait for the processing by viewing on Win 2000 Task Bar. I need progress bar on each folder processing. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
similar to bug 179162 which deals in particular with the JUNK MAIL CONTROLS "We need to do a better job of showing progress (at least for marking), and make any of these operations interruptible. Additionally, shutdown of the app while any of these things are going on needs to be dealt with." Similar enough to dupe against that?
I think it's bug 91458, but they might be solved together.
Yes, this is very similar to bug 91458. I posted a possible solution there (the use of a "task" interface, comment #3 of that bug) that would help to solve both of these bugs at the same time. It would also help solve bug 179162 as originally written, as mentioned here in the first comment of this bug 201174. The scope of bug 179162 has broadened, though, and no longer addresses just the lack of a progress bar.
