Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to tools/message filters. 2. Create a new filter. 3. Change the 'Subject' box to 'Status' Actual Results: There is no 'Flagged' status. Expected Results: There should be a flagged option to be able match/not match on flags.

Adding "criterion" to summary. Why this bug is shown "depending on" bug 92075 bug "blocking" bug 234222 is beyond me. The need for Flag As Criterion affects filter, search and mailviews equally. I don't think bug 143085 has *any* dependency with this bug. xref bug 217034.

Anyone watching this bug? I realize it's an enhancement, not a bug per se, but the lack of this feature severely limits interaction with other IMAP clients (IMHO). In most other circumstances it's only an inconvenience, but a rather annoying one for me. Any idea when someone will be able to get around to taking a look at this? I can't imagine that it would take a lot of work to implement.

This particular version of the bug does not appear to actually be fixed? This is still not a criterion in MailNews in 1.7.7.
I'm not entiresly sure this is a dupe. The bug this is marked a dupe of is for Thunderbird only, not the mozille suite.

That means the fix will not be in the 1.7.x (branch) builds; you need to be using a 1.8 nightly build since the checkin.
