Now one of my mail accounts can no longer get new messages, similar to bugs 127461 and 127461. The cursor shows the hourglass when over the left side list of folders or over the upper frame with the received messages, but is normal arrow when over the text body of a message. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open mail and news window 2. click on getmsgs button or click on file/get new messages, same non-result 3. Actual Results: no new messages received, no display of message 'checking server for new mail' Expected Results: new mail shoul be received into inbox. have checked disk space, plenty available. defragged disk. deleted all trash items.

Dave Plump: is the failure to fetch mail permanent, or does it resume once you restart Mozilla? What about your bug is *different* from bug 127461, that this warrants a separate bug report?
