User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030418 Phoenix/0.5+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030418 Phoenix/0.5+ On many web pages with form requirng username/password the username is being saved again and again. everytime I use the form. As a result every time I visit the page I am asked to shoose the user name for this form. And the list keeps on growing (though all items are identical of course). Note: This bug exists only in Phoenix version >=0.5. Mozilla is ok. (at least up to 1.3) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to linux.org.ru 2. Register as user (it's free of course). 3. Post a reply to any 2 threads, with your user name / passowrd. 4. Open any other threa and observe you beeing prompted to choose user name from two same alternatives. Actual Results: You are prompted to shoose from two EXACTLY SAME choices of user name. Expected Results: The form should be completed automatically.
I suggest marking this bug as a duplicate of bug 153986 and then go vote for that bug. This same problem is noted on that bug, at mozillazine.org
