Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3; MultiZilla v1.3.1 (a)) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3; MultiZilla v1.3.1 (a)) Gecko/20030312 When I make changes to the properties for an LDAP directory, those changes do not take effect until I've exited and restarted Mozilla. This is also true for adding directories--after going through the process of adding a directory, it doesn't appear in the list until Mozilla has been exited and restarted. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1 - Open Address Book. 2a.1 - File | New | LDAP Directory... 2a.2 - Enter information on a directory. 2a.3 - Click "OK". 2a.4 - Directory does not appear in "Address Books" pane. 2b.1 - Right click on an existing directory. 2b.2 - Change the properties in a way that affects lookups (change server or base DN) (Note that bind DN changes appear to take effect immediately.) 2b.3 - Run a query. 2b.4 - The query will run as if the settings had not been changed. 3 - Exit Mozilla. 4 - Start Mozilla. 5 - Go to Address Book. 6a - Directory now appears. 6b - Queries are now run with the new settings. Actual Results: As listed in the steps to reproduce. Expected Results: The changes and additions should take effect immediately.
