* TITLE/SUMMARY
Help menu items opened from Composer yield editable pages
<This must be a dupe, but I can't find a bug for it.>
* STEPS TO REPRODUCE
0) Launch Apprunner
1) From the "Tasks" menu, select "Composer"
2) Select any item from the "Help" menu (e.g. "About" or "Release Notes")
* RESULT
- What happened
The resulting help text is opened within an editable Composer window.
- What was expected
Help text is provided for viewing, not editing; the page should have opened
within a browser window, of course.
* REGRESSION
- Occurs On
Win32 Apprunner (1999112908 [NT 4, Service Pack 5])
Linux Apprunner (1999112908)
- Doesn't Occur On
Mac OS Apprunner (1999112908) --- Help menu busted, known bug.
* CONFIGURATIONS TESTED
- [Mac] Beige Power Mac G3 (266 MHz PowerPC 750), 96 MB RAM (VM on; 1 MB of VM
used), 1024x768 (Thousands of Colors), Mac OS 8.6
- [Win32] Vectra VL (233 MHz P2), 96 MB RAM, 800x600 (True Color), NT 4.0 SP5.
- [Linux] Vectra VL (266 MHz P2), 96 MB RAM. Red Hat Linux 6.0 (GNOME).

Reassigning to Matt, who I'm assuming will be fixing this. Or would it be saari?

Yuck. I don't have a clue how to fix this, but I guess it's mine. (Sob!)

I'm betting that Matt doesn't think this is his. But he surely has a better
chance of fixing it than I do!

Guys, I'm too doomed to be tracking this down. It doesn't sound like an XPToolkit
bug.

I can't bring up help at all in my build on Mac (in the browser or in Composer).
Is there another bug for me to add a dependency?

Build 2000-02-07-08M14: NT4, Linux 6.0, Mac 8.5.1
Reopening
There is a problem when accessing Help|Feedback Please!
It overwrites the Composer contents.
Yet Select Help|Release Notes opens a Browser window and displays the Release
Notes as expected.
