Michael, is this a selection problem.

Load page in the browser? I try to load the above URL and I get the "Not Found" error. I can load that URL in 4.7, however, so is there a server permission problem? My guess from the desciption is that the "arror graphic" is the scrollbar that is appearing (incorrectly) in the ender edit widget. Steve or Beth: Do you know the bug number for that problem?
It should load fine (as it does w/4.7 and 112308), but I get the same error in my 1201 build. An earlier build should do the trick. thx, kevin
But I have to debug with the latest build, i.e., my own tree!
Strange. I've never seen this before. I'm not sure what I should do (mktg guy here :) Please let me know how I can help. thx, kevin
if the issue is just that you can't get to the remote test case because of a bug in mozilla, just copy it to your local machine and debug from there, right? there's nothing special about the bug that says you have to be loading a network file, is there?
I mean I must have a URL that I can load into my own build. The above URL doesn't seem to qualify. What exactly is the "strange formatting"? If all you are seeing is a square at the right border with an up arrow, you are seeing a scroll bar embedded in the edit field. I see that in any edit field, such as in the editor dialogs.
Charlie, I'll also email it to you. As you said, maybe it isn't a bug, but the behavior didn't occur in 1116 builds and the way the content is programmed, I don't think the behavior should occur. So, I'm guessing that it is a bug. thx, kevin
Charley, if this is just a case of scrollbars showing up inappropriately in single line text controls, you can dup it to 20387.
